Based in Los Angeles, California, Polko has built up her clientele over 15 years working with some of the industry’s top names and most stylish It-girls. Known for her signature “chic cool girl hair,” her work has graced the pages of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Cosmopolitan, ELLE and other leading publications.
“In my close to two decades in the industry, I’ve learned exactly which products work, which don’t quite hit the mark and what’s missing,” says Polko. “Done right, everyday signatures and styling essentials don’t need to be exorbitantly expensive.”

“It was important to me that Laura Polko Los Angeles products were free from the common additives that I try to steer clear of in the products I use myself, both on my clients and in my own routine,” says Polko.
“Our ‘no’ list is extensive, and we intentionally formulated without undesirable ingredients such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, paraffins, dyes/colorants, gluten, mineral oils, aluminum, formaldehyde and propylene glycol.”
The brand’s core range of signature Shampoo and Conditioner formulas launch exclusively at Target in December 2024. The four foundational lines include Ultimate Moisture, Volume, Color Protect and Repair. Key styling essentials, including Hair Masks, Leave-In and Dry Shampoo will launch in February 2025, with further range expansion to follow.
